The traditional Corus Chess Tournament will take place in Wijk aan Zee, January 12-28. The A group is traditionally strong. There will be 6 players from the top ten and the average ELO is 2723.


The A-group has 3 players younger than the age of 20 (Karjakin, Carlsen and Radjabov) and the player with highest ELO, Veselin Topalov.
