Fantastic game by Cheparinov

Ivan Cheparinov achieved a second consecutive victory at Essent Open 2006. This time he defeated Steve Berger, Germany.
Cheparinov, who was playing white started the game aggressively and was moving at blitz rate. His preparation for the opening was obviously superb. Even though Berger was often finding the best response, Ivan created multiple threats. The German was going down on time and after 34. Nc6 he gave up due to heavy loss of material in the following moves.
After round two Ivan Cheparinov is top of the table with 2 out of 2. Next game is tomorrow 14:00 local time.
